Includes minutes and notes relating to the 1972 Mabledon Conference (September 1972- 5 April 1973) attended by delegates from the Church Society, Church of England Evangelical Council and Church Pastoral Aid Society, convened to discuss the future of evanglicals in the Church of England, and the structures of the organisations represented. Also contains Church Society paper on Inter-Faith Dialogue by John Williams; correspondence concerning the revision of the CEEC Basis of Faith, October 1984; correspondence and papers relating to dispute between the Church Society and the Editorial Board of the society's journal - the Churchman, including correspondence with George Marchant, Gerald Bray and Peter Williams, March-November 1983; correspondence between John Stott and J.I.
