Administrative / biographical background

They are not in Wall's hand but appear to be a contemporary copy of the Review mentioned by him in his Defence of the History of Infant-Baptism, 1720, p.6, which he 'shewed ... to some Friends, and they to others'. Numerous alterations in the same hand have also been made to the printed text of the History apparently for a new edition, but they were not incorporated in the third edition published in 1720.

William Wall was Rector of Milton-next-Gravesend.
