Description

Incl. biographical information on John Hill (?1716-1775), writer and botanist, second son of the Rev. Theophilus Hill, sometime curate of Denham. Hill was sometimes known as 'Sir John Hill', having been knighted by the King of Sweden. The booklet is inscribed by R.H. Way: 'buried at Denham so no doubt related to Sir Roger Hill'.
