The lodge was established in 1770 but never named. In 1770 the lodge met at the Trowel and Hammer, St. Stephen's Gate, Norwich, Norfolk. In 1801 the lodge moved from Norwich to Blakeley, meeting at the Ship Inn, High Street, Blakeney, Norfolk. The lodge was marked dormant from about 1805-07 but remains on the list until 1813.
