Draft letter from the Local Government Board to J Thornely [John Thornely], Norfolk District Auditor, regarding the surcharge of £2 made against R C Browne [Richard Charles Browne], Chairman of the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, during the audit of the accounts of the Union for the half year ending Lady Day 1873. The Board propose to remit the surcharge but first request to know if any costs had been incurred?
