Letter of Jacob Bassan, Provincial Grand Treasurer sending Robert Leslie, Grand Secretary, a bill of exchange for twenty pounds drawn by Francis Owens on James Sykes, London to renew the provincial grand lodge warrant. When ready the warrant can be sent to the counting house of Mr M Gomes Da Costa, known at Lloyds Coffee House, London, who will forward the replacement warrant to Jamaica. Requests a printed volume or manuscript copy of Grand Lodge by laws.

Provincial Grand Lodge, No. 1 was granted a warrant by the Antients' Grand Lodge on 1 June 1796 to meet as No. 301 at the Masons' Hall, Port Royal Street, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. The Lodge was erased at the time of the union between the Antients' and Moderns' Grand Lodges to form the United Grand Lodge of England in 1813.
