Bargain & Sale for £440, of timber, being 669 oaks and 2 ash trees; 263 trees in Worth alias Worthe, co.Chester, growing in tenements called the Demesne, Edward Wood's (alias Wood's), Thomas Shrigley's (alias Shrigley's), Joseph Swindells's, Wood's o'th'Lane, Rixon's, Gaskell's, Platt's, and 408 trees in Shrigley growing in tenements called the Demesne, Hurst's, Holmes, Hill Top, Blake-Hay, Bann's, Unwin's, Birchin Cliff alias Birchincliff.

Parchment 1 membrane 24" wide by 17", and paper 1 sheet 12" wide by 17" (paper a schedule specifying the location and identity of the trees). Seal applied on turn-up, red, round, 15mm diam, device a bust in 18th century dress, legend obscure. Duty Stamps 1s.6d.
