Description

Mortgage by William Holmes of Studley, co. Warwick, maltster, to Thomas Lee of Edgbaston near Birmingham, same county, gent., for £1500 of a messuage, malthouse and lands in Studley by demise for 1000 years at a peppercorn rent.

Signed: William Holmes, with seal.

Witness: Robt: Medes, clerk to Messrs. Lee & Corrie, Birmingham.

Endorsed 3 July 1805 as having been exhibited under a commission of bankruptcy against Wm: Holmes to S. Perkins, W. Whateley and Thos: Gem.
