By John Linnett [sen.] (of Coventry, draper) to John Ward Hutchins (of Hill Cross, Coventry, grocer and baker) of a Hill Cross shop, bakehouse, etc. now being built next to King St. in Holy Trinity pa., for seven years from 25th. Mar., 1884 at £30 p.a. quarterly-paid; among the usual covenants there is one wherein J.W. Hutchins agrees not to allow the premises to be used for another trade or annoy the neighbours; J. Linnett [sen.] may re-enter if rent fall 21 days behindhand or the covenants be breached; Linnett will upkeep the exterior and drainage, and insure the premises for £450, whilst disputes about damages will be referred to two arbitrators.
