London Agent for Sedgley Park School c.1847 - c.1853; President 1853 - 1861. A student at Sedgley Park from 1809 - 1816, he completed his studies at St Edmund's College, Ware, Hertfordshire, and was ordained in 1825. He was then placed in charge of the parish of Shefford in Bedfordshire for 13 years. From 1838 he was Bursar at St Edmund's College,Ware, Hertfordshire, under the Presidency of his brother John. He left St Edmund's in 1843 and was attached to the Belgian Chapel in St George's Fields, Southwark, London. He moved to St Mary's, Moorfields, in London for seven years, where he acted as Agent for Sedgley Park School. After 2 years at Somers Town, London, during which time [c.1851] he was installed as Canon of the Westminster Chapter, he was lent to Sedgley Park in 1853 to take up the Presidentship left vacant by the resignation of the Very Rev. Canon Thomas Flanagan.
