Chart shows coastline, hydrography, ship's tracks (26 September 1812, 27 September 1812), remarks. Manuscript. Latitude and longitude indicated; north point; no scale shown. Attributed to Mr Hodoul by Becher [Jean Francois Hodoul (1766 to 1835) was a French Corsair (Privateer) employed by the French government. In 1802 he settled on Mahe Island, Seychelles and became a wealthy businessman, plantation owner and owner of several ships trading goods between the Seychelles and Mauritius]. Stamped in red ink: 'Chart Branch Hydrographic Department Admiralty, Original Document to be returned to curator'
