Mr Sutton is currently writing the 3rd volume of "Mainly about Ardwick." He contacted Manchester Studies to see if we could provide any appropriate photographs; he then loaned me this collection - his own, built up over many years. Mr Sutton lived in Ardwick from 1922-1953 and attended Chester Street and Ardwick Central Schools.
