Description

The Hastings Police Force came into existence on 1 June 1836 and was abolished to form the Sussex Police in 1967.

The correspondence was arranged in five bundles by J M Baines at Hastings Museum where some items were selectively listed. The decision has been taken to list them in one chronological series.
