membrane 1. Fixed rents (redditus assise), including rents for Nobletorre, Cadusta, and nothing for Langcade because not occupied.
Farm of mills -- 1 fulling-mill, 1 blowing-mill at Carquyet, 1 mill called Tanmylle newly constructed, from 4 mills at Carford and mill of Cadusta iuxta Northwode nothing, because they are totally decayed and waste.
Revenues -- pasture of Fowymore sold, pasture of Partyesparke, Deuyok Mille, and from lady of Hungerford for head-weir of her mill.
Perquisites of court (including toll of tin).
Allowances and failures of rent -- heir of Richard Le Prynne for not taking hearth-wood, Deuyok Mille all decayed.
Expenses of court.
Delivery of pence (liberacio denariorum).
Further expenses include for John Creby, riding from Cornwall to Notew... [Notewyll] to inquire when the official will come to make account (qu' officiar' ibidem venir' ad compu'), and 41s 4d from goods and chattels of Thomas Lokye 'because the lord wishes Cardinan church to have the profits therefrom' (eo quod dominus vult quod ecclesia de Cardinan habeat proficua inde); expenses for Thomas Stile and William Hille riding from Exeter to Cornwall and from Cornwall to Hertelond and elsewhere in Devon to hold law courts and supervise manors.
Respites include 1 blowing-mill at Carquyt, [because] officers of Richard, Duke of Gloucester, deny that they should pay until etc.
membrane 2. Similar entries; perquisites of court include sale of wood as well as sale of toll tin.
Thomas Stile, lord's surveyor.
Respites: 10s rent of 1 "molend' pro stagno suffland' et liquend' apud Carquyt" for 4 years, 2s 6d yearly, because the officer of Richard, Duke of Gloucester, denied that they pay until, etc.; and 6s 8d as part of Stephen Gros's fine, to be paid next year.
membrane 3. Expenses include repairs to the fulling-mill this year.
membrane 4. Thomas Style, lord's receiver.
membrane 5. Additional expenses include repairs to tenement at Higherbury and repairs to the fulling-mill.
membrane 6. Additional expenses include payment to the king for 1/10th of the manor, edict granted to him in the last parliament at Westminster.
membrane 7. Allowances include Tanne Mylle, because in lord's hands and totally decayed [yet still 'newly constructed' in farms of mills].
