Four books of manuscript notes for sermons. In the beginning of vol. I in the hand of the book: I John Taylor was born 20 May, 1620 in the vicaridge house of St. Laurence, Reading baptized 28, my god fathers were Sir John Mounson and Mr. John Chamberlayne then Sheriff of London and my grandmother Turner.
I came into Lincolnshire Decr. the 22 anno 1649, and gives some other biographical details.
Vol. IV has book of Psalms, printed 1647, bound up at the end, with some music included.
Monson Mss. nos. CLXI - CLXIV. vol. IV, pp. 494 has notes on baptism of his wife and of his children.
Sermons notes dated 1651.
