Administrative / biographical background

The W C S A (a registered charity) was set up by a grant from the Department of Health and Social Security in 1984. The Social Services Department of Cumbria County Council took over responsibility for the Juvenile Justices Team in 1989. The records were retrieved from Cumbria's Social Services Department by the depositor.
