10 horse power independent crank engine, with 19¾ inch cylinder, 2½ foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.Reverse side view of the engine and cross-section of the boiler, plan of the engine and boiler, end view of the engine, longitudinal section of the boiler. The drawings bear letter codes.
Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 658. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 220.
For the Money Musk Estate, Jamaica. Sugar plantation engine ordered by William & Roland Mitchell of Lime St., London. Maintenance of this engine was later taken over by Pearse & Child.
