As its name suggests the Financial Committee dealt with Club financial matters. It met weekly (monthly as the Finance Sub-Committee) in order to approve the weekly financial statement and to sign cheques for the payment of housekeeping and current expenses. It also noted the current Club bank balance. The Ballot Committee met monthly and dealt almost exclusively with the election of new members. In addition it also noted the current number of members, deaths amongst members and resignations.
