Deed to lead to Recovery: Thomasin Barker of Seaton, co. Rutland, widow and relict of Augustine Barker, late of South Luffenham, co. Rutland, gent., Samuel Barker of Lyndon, co. Rutland, esq., only son and heir of the said Augustine and Thomasin Barker, Thomas Thompson of Tinwell, co. Rutland, yeoman and Rev. Charles Titley of Cotesmore, co. Rutland, clerk, of the first part, Robert Meese of New Inn, co. Middlesex, gent., and Thomas Mason of the same, gent., of the second part, Andrew Tryst of Banbury, co. Oxford, Doctor of Physick, and Toby Chauncy of Edgcotte, co. Northampton, esq., of the third part: bargain and sale unto Robert Meese and Thomas Mason of a capital messuage in SOUTH LUFFENHAM, heretofor in the tenure of Augustine Barker and all messuages, cottages, barns, etc., lands, meadows, pastures, rents, etc., in SOUTH LUFFENHAM, NORTH LUFFENHAM, MORCOTT, BAROWDEN and KETTON, heretofor in the possession of Augustine Barker: to hold the same so that a recovery may be suffered to bar all entails: the recoverers to stand seised of the premises to the following uses:- (i) one messuage and 6 acres 1 rood of land in BARROWDEN with appurtenances late in the occupation of Thomas Thompson to the use of said Thomas Thompson and his heirs for ever (ii) a small close called Hollands Close in SOUTH LUFFENHAM late in the occupation of Robert Meres, gent., deceased, to the use of the heirs and assigns of the said Robert Meres, deceased (iii) the residue of the said premises to the use of the said Thomasin Barker for the term of her life and after her death to the use of Samuel Barker, party to these presents and his heirs for ever.
