St Paul, Paris to Grantham
As he did not attend the Court at Fontainebleau this year, St Paul has had no opportunity of seeing the Spanish ambassador until his return. The Court came from thence to Versailles on 16 November, and St Paul has proposed sending Grantham's packet at the same time as his dispatches to M. Grimaldi. Though he had hoped for greater security for Grantham's Ruffles and that they should go when he sent a courier, this may cause delay, so he ventures to send them by post. Has packed them up as well as possible; hopes Grantham will be pleased with the patterns. Compliments to Grantham, Mr Robinson and Mr Shadwell.
