Miss Brown says the date is 1553 or 1554. This appears to be based on a note on the cover. The cover (formerly in parcel B, but now placed with Spalding Sewers/473/3) is a fragment of a missal of a an even smaller piece of a lectionary. 14c. or early 15c.
