These are records of the Miscellaneous Section, which dealt with all financial transactions which could not conveniently be allocated to one of the other sections of the Department. The section includes railway payments, adjustments with departments of the UK Government, shipping and passage payments, expenses of the office, etc. It also includes miscellaneous payments for the non-paying sections (e.g. the Funds and Non-Effective Account Sections).
