Letter of John Wilson, Worshipful Master, Trinity Lodge, Coventry thanking William White for the safe receipt of the warrant and Book of Constitutions. Wilson sends the Grand Secretary five Pounds, fifteen Shillings and six Pence for the warrant for Trinity Lodge meeting at the Golden Lion and twelve Shillings for the Book of Constitutions as a bill of exchange drawn on Messrs Smith and Son, bankers, London. Informs White of two additional members, William Bate and Edward Shaw.

Trinity Lodge was granted a warrant to meet as No. 471 by the Moderns' Grand Lodge on 4 May 1785. The Lodge met at the Golden Lion, Butcher Row, Coventry, Warwickshire. The Lodge was renumbered as No. 382 in 1792 and as No. 476 after the union between the Moderns' and the Antients' Grand Lodges in 1813 to form the United Grand Lodge of England. It was renumbered as No. 316 in 1832 and as No. 254 in 1863. The Lodge relocated to the Bull and Anchor, Bishop Street, Coventry in 1804 and met at several hostelries in Coventry before moving to the Coventry Masonic Hall, formerly the Drapers' Hall, at 165 Warwick Road, Coventry.
