- communications from Ministry of Home Security regarding: changes of ARP District boundaries [not Bedfordshire]; flooding of standard steel shelters; instructions for detecting unexploded bombs; disposal of unexploded parachute mines; equipment for Three Counties Hospital, Arlesey;

- communications from Senior Regional Officer regarding: reports of casualties in air raid shelters; use of school shelters by general public outside school hours; awards for gallantry; information regarding air raid casualties; Rescue Party accommodation in Dunstable; requisition of 100 High Street, Bedford; modified street lighting; public shelters in Cranfield;

- communications from Ministry of Health regarding: cost of maintenance of Poor Law and Public Health Institution patients removed under Emergency Hospital Scheme; accommodation and billeting of hospital staff; refugees from enemy attack; re-occupation of unoccupied houses by those made homeless by enemy action; transfer of mothers and children from London; unorganised evacuation of homeless from London; emergency water supplies to hospitals; war damage to hospitals; increase in number of whole-time personnel at Ampthill First Aid Post; expenditure regarding Battlesden House Maternity Home;
