The Lodge of Union was named and established in 1810. In 1810 the lodge met at the Blue Anchor Tavern, St. George's Square, Portsea, Hampshire. In 1822 the lodge met at the Mitre Tavern, Butchers Row, Portsea and the meetings remained there until the lodge was erased in 1836.
