Enlisted in London on 12/8/15 in 28 London Regt (Artists Rifles) as Private No 4341 on 12/8/15. Height 5' 11" with fair physical development. Discharged to a commission 21/1/16. Kia 10/6/17 - listed as 10 KLR attd 101 MGC Company. (Officers Papers - PRO )

Son of Mr and Mrs C M Dunn of Clapham, London. Volunteering first for the 28th London Regiment (Artist's Rifles), number 4341, in 1915, Dunn was commissioned into the Liverpool Scottish on 20 January 1916. Proceeding overseas later in the same year, he was eventually attached to the Machine Gun Corps (Infantry) with which regiment he was killed in action on 10 June 1917, still only nineteen years old.
