Re James Berriman, rents and allowances. Including, "the drought is more intence here now than ever was known in the memory of any Man living.
Berriman sais they have fetched all their water for their own use from Kilham for three months and has driven his cattle near a mile every day for water for near two months. Here is very little Hay and the corn crops are nearly dry'd up" etc.
