More photographs of the greenhouse. The camera angle remained basically the same, but the distance away from the greenhouse changed, which obviously altered the relationship between the greenhouse and the surrounding landscape. In one or two shots (negatives 5 and 7) the greenhouse looks quite picturesque in its setting, could almost have been in a botanical garden.

10 - 17 Saturday morning, about 9 a.m.

I don't have too many technical disasters, but this was one of them. The lighting seemed perfect when I took these photographs of Lomas's estate, but just look at the results. I don't even know what went wrong.

The less said about these photographs the better.

I didn't want too much shadow area in the photograph, but wanted to include the old wooden box, which although discarded, is, like the greenhouse, part of the estate, part of market gardening.</p> <p>Apart from a slight-trimming around the edges this is a straight print.</p></span>
