This booke conteynes sundrye and moste godlye prayers aswell in phrase as in verse collected and gathered out of Gods sacred scriptures, moste delightfull for the soules healthe' (title at f. iii). At ff. 122v-125v are highly abbreviated notes on sermons; those at f. 125v with dates in March and May 1614.

- Former Sion College shelfmark C.85 and subsequent shelfmark 14.1 at f. i. Not found in William Reading's catalogue of Sion College Library published in 1724, and probably acquired after 1751 (after Sion L40.2/E34, acquired in 1751, which was assigned the shelfmarks C.82-83). Transferred from Sion College to Lambeth Palace Library, 1996.

- Limp vellum binding, with a centrepiece of four acorns tooled in gold, 184 x 148 mm. Initials 'I.S.' added in ink on the rear cover; also the date March 26th 1614. Paper leaves.
