Description

Correspondence of both a business and personal nature with Percy J Winser Esq.

Winser, previously of Winser & Company; Warrington , was made works manager of the Warrington site in 1885 due to his great technical knowledge in the art of soap making. He was made a Managing Director along with James Lever and James Darcy Lever in 1894 when the private Lever Brothers company was made into a Public Limited Liability Company. (See "Viscount Leverhulme. By his Son" George Allen & Unwin Ltd, London. 1927)

Winser retired in 1901 and died on 11 October 1916.
