Baldock UDC was the successor to Baldock Local Board of Health. The District was extended at various dates between 1904 and 1927 by the addition of parts of the parishes of Bygrave, Weston and Willian. The Council's successor from 1 April 1974 was the North Hertfordshire District Council which retains most of its records.
