Receipted bill for £15. 5s. 9d. by S. Burrough: Master Webb Edge, due 1 Sept. 1769 - Board, schooling, school fire and candle £7. 4s.; Hatter 1s. 6d., Buckles etc. 3s. 6d., pocket money 5s. 3d.; entrance for musick 10s. 6d.; Mr. Valentine's bill £3. 8s. 6d. (see 160/9 above); glover, shoemaker, tailor, carpenter, barber, servants; writing 9s. 7d.; bookseller 14s.; dancing £1. 1s. etc.
Noted that when Burrough receipted bill he also received a gratuity of 2 guineas.
