Ref: 4096SR/4. In view of the high loads which will be imposed on the bolts connecting the 1st & 2nd stage rotor discs to the rotor centre, it is necessary to carry out initial tests as soon as possible to ascertain the reserve factor of the bolts under static and dynamic conditions and the behaviour of the coned rotor assembly.
