Description

Knights living in the time of King Edward I, with some record of the Arms described in various Rolls and lists of Arms from the time of King Stephen to that of King Edward II inclusive', compiled by the Rev. Charles Moor, DD, FSA; early 20th century. Three volumes, each with an introduction giving sources, etc. Vol. I. A, B; Vol. II. C-E; Vol. III. F-H. Published (to Letter Z) by the Harleian Society, 80-84 (1929-32), but 'the printed work omits a considerable number of the less important entries' (Vol. III, fol. vi). A slip index containing many more names was deposited in the Society of Genealogists (ibid.).
