Amphibious Lodge was granted a warrant to meet as No. 498 by the Moderns' Grand Lodge on 15 June 1787. It may have received a warrant on 15 June 1786 and may have been constituted at Suttling House, Marine Barracks, Stonehouse on 22 August 1786. The Lodge met at the Marine Barracks, East Stonehouse, Devon. In 1792 the Lodge was renumbered to meet as No. 407. The last member in the register was added on 1 October 1792 and the lodge lapsed in about 1800.
