Letters and papers of William-Anne Van Keppel, 2nd Earl of Albemarle (1702 - 1754)

These consist of correspondence, mainly of a routine nature, in connection with his military appointments, addressed either to the Earl or to his secretary, Major Roper.

The papers appear to have been left at Wentworth Woodhouse by the 6th Earl of Albemarle, who worked on the Rockingham papers there for his Memoirs of the Marquis of Rockingham (1852)
