F. Chambre to Richard Hill.

A few days ago Mr. Ralph Horton by letter offered the sale of his manor or Coole, now mortgaged to Hill. It consists of 2 farms, one £115 p.a. and the other £45. He says the buildings are convenient and in good repair - Chambre would enter into no treaty until he had Hill's commission. The estate lies near Nuerton which he hears Mr. Dicken has lately purchased or contracted for on Hill's account, and is in the same parish. If Hill wishes to purchase, Chambre will make enquiries, as he would for himself in like case. The title is good - the properties lie in Cheshire very near to Nampwich and these purchases being near to Mr. Wilbraham may induce him to exchange his Shropshire estate with Hill. In any case it lies not many miles from Hawkestone.

In his next Hill shall know how his works are advanced, for he intends tomorrow to be at Hawkestone. He would gladly hear that the bath agrees with him.
