After the 1835 Municipal Corporations Act, a fresh series of council minute books was begun, as prescribed by the Act. The signed series is maintained in manuscript up to 1910 and thereafter printed.
An unsigned, printed series from 1894 to date is kept in the Record Office searchroom.
