Stroud Road and Ryecroft were amalgamated in 1955 to form St Luke's (Stroud Road). Bristol Road Chapel transferred to Wesley Church in Seymour Road in 1909, and amalgamated with St Luke's in 1965. Note: Stroud Road has also previously been known as Stroud Road United Methodist Church and Tuffley Bible Christian Church. For a fuller history refer to Victoria County History, vol.IV, pp.326-330
