Double-acting engine, with 60 inch cylinder, parallel motion, separate air pump beam. Engine never built.General view of the engine - coloured drawing; nozzle - reverse drawing. Both drawings bear letter codes.
For United Mines. This engine was referred to as "United Mines No. 2" and was intended for Poldory Mine. It was ordered in May 1793. However the order never came to fruition, and instead United Mines bought from Chacewater Mine the 60 inch engine which had first been at Pool Mine [see Portfolio 5/1297].
