Description

Early muniments of title (to c. 1660), and later ones directly connected with them, are calendared in full;

Later deeds are, in the main, catalogued by bundles only;

Estate and family papers, parliamentary election papers, and some correspondence are individually listed: letters are calendared.

The Trevor (diplomatic) papers, and the Hobart (mainly political) papers, earlier and later series, the Goderich (political) papers, and Bishop Carr's Diary, are only listed under general headings.

Note. For list of additional estate records, C.18-1931, deposited January 1973, ask for receipt schedule A.R.5/73 Executorship papers of the 6th Earl (d.1885), family settlements and mortgages, deeds, correspondence, vouchers, etc., for Bucks estate, and some for Irish estate.
