Description

Correspondence relating to the Prince of Wales' tour of America and Canada, including: a letter from Edward, Prince of Wales thanking Sir Esme Howard for his help and expressing his wish to meet Randolph Hearst, and Sir Esme's draft memorandum to H M George V reporting on the Prince's tour; correspondence with Austen Chamberlain, Foreign Secretary, relating to the American attitude to the Geneva Protocol; draft memorandum on the smuggling of liquor into the U.S.A. from the British Empire.
