The Plans Sub-Committee was formerly a sub-sub-committee of the Works Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/AO/4/1/6-8). By October 1919 it was reconstituted as its own sub-committee, to advise the main committee on the viability of building plans submitted for the approval of the Council.
