"An Accurate Map and Survey of certain lands, farms and tenements, situate and being part of the several manors of Ilminster, Steywleigh, Abbots Isle, Aishill, Donyatt, Portington ... in Winsham, Cudworth, Cricket Malherbie, Evilton, Speckington and Bridgehampton ... belonging to the free school of Ilminster ... "

No scale c.20" ; 1 ml O.S. 6" 74 SW, 80 NE SE, 87 NW, 88NW SW, 92 NW NE.
C. 420 a. in small holdings ranging from c.190 a. at Purtington in Winsham to c.15 a. in Cudworth together with Father's House on the east side of High Street, Taunton (not mapped) Marl pit in Winsham shown, lanes at Stewley in Ashill and Winsham named. Buildings drawn in elevation (prob. figuratively), incl. Cross Keys Inn near Ilford Bridges,, Ashill and the School House at Ilminster. Buildings not owned by the trustees also drawn in elevation incl. the churches of parishes in heading together with Ilton, Dowlish (Wake) and Chilton (Cantelo), The Windwhistle Inn, Cudworth with adj. turnpike house and gate and direction mile stone and the houses of Mrs Salisbury at Donyatt, Mr Atkins Abraham at Winsham, Mrs House and Mrs Standrick and Radigan Farm all in Ashill. Key states field name, ref. number, acreage and numbers of trees (maiden or pollard) indicating whether in field fence or open ground. For survey of leases 1802 based on the map see MAP\DD\IGS 2/3.
The map is decorated with a wide plain border coloured yellow and brown and a compass rose typical of Donne's style.
