Administrative / biographical background

Under his Will, Walter Edward Mynard made a charitable bequest to the Tooting branch of the Society. If the branch were abolished, the gift was to go to the Society headquarters. The charity which was constituted was registered under number 251750 and was removed from the Register of Charities in 1982 as it had ceased to exist.
