Description

Letter continued on 2 Dec. Docketed “Capt. O’Brien has transmitted the order for two pairs of engines for the Dublin steamers. Is doubtful as to which vessel to adopt of the three sent by Lang. Thought Margate No. 5 wheels had been fixed at 9 feet wide which would be advisable. Messrs. Grout Baylis & Co. order accepted for an 80 horse engine in 10 months. Hughes and Mears died in April last.”
