The documents were formerly stored in the Manuscripts Room in the Basement of Exeter City Library and were assumed to have been deposited before 1939. The volumes of manorial records which had been given a CR number have been removed and placed with the C.R. collection.
Catalogued in September, 1976 by East Devon Record Office. Transferred to Devon Record Office in 1977.
