Bassenthwaite: Declaration of Trust by John Brisco of Langrigg gent. - that in his purchase of several customary parcels in High Dalt Field, Bassenthwaite Halls (Manor of Bassenthwaite), rent 1d., from John Wilson of West End, Bassenthwaite Halls, gent., for £120, the previous day, he was acting for Sir Gilfrid, 1764; deed of exchange of Sir Gilfrid's field called Green Close in Bassenthwaite, for 5 acres of John Spedding's allotment on Bassenthwaite Common nearby (Sir Gilfrid and John Spedding of Armathwaite Esq., exchangers), 1771
