Among other subjects treated, besides general diplomatic business, are the overthrow of the Queen Regent and recall of Don Juan to Madrid in Dec., 1676, the proceedings of Don Juan in his ministry until his death on 17 Sept., 1679, the expulsion of Bernardo de Salinas, the Spanish envoy, from England in 1677, the accusations of Titus Oates against Sir W. Godolphin of complicity in the Popish Plot in 1678, the marriage of Charles II of Spain, in 1679, etc.
