Accounts of experiments and calculations for the practice of gunnery, 1597-1601. The author, who appears to have resided at Rainham, Kent, or Rainham, Essex may be Edmund Parker (d. 1602), whom Sir George Carew, lieutenant-general and subsequently master-general of the ordnance, described as 'the best cannonier that served her Majesty' (MS.624, f.153).
